Teams from 麻豆直播 earned 7 gold medals, 6 silver medals, 8 bronze medals, and two honorable mentions on this year鈥檚 ONMIPA. On the previous ONMIPA, 麻豆直播 earned the title of general champion in 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2013, and 2010.

One of the categories that brought the most medals was Physics, which earned 麻豆直播 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals. This is the result of hard work done by participants who had previously went into several selection processes such as on itb level, regional, and national.

Faizal Husni, a student of Telecommunication Engineering 2017, was one of the medal winners on Physics category. His love for Physics began since he participated on science olympiad back in junior and senior high. In 2017, he also won silver medal in international Physics Olympiad (IPhO).

Faizal said that when he became an itb freshman in 2018, he also participated in ONMIPA-PT, passed onto the national level and won silver medal. 鈥淔or this achievement I feel very happy and it exceeded my expectation because I have little preparation for national ONMIPA,鈥� said Faizal.

It is a challenge for Faizal to compete in activity outside academic activity. But that pays off with the result he got. 鈥淭he difficulty is more about managing the time of study for ONMIPA and university. Because ONMIPA was held at the end of semester it conflicted with exams and assignments,鈥� said Faizal. Despite the condition, Faizal try his hard to make both work well.

Asked about his plan, Faizal said that he wanted to study more specific and directly related to his study programs on network technology and telecommunication. And for short term target, Faizal also plan to participate in other competition that relates to his study program.
