Multicampus
The Bandung Institute of Technology (Â鶹ֱ²¥) as one of the higher education institutions in Indonesia always strives to continue to develop itself so that it can continue to play an active role in developing science, technology and art and participate in the intellectual life of the nation. To achieve this goal, Â鶹ֱ²¥ has established the 2006–2025 Development Master Plan (RENIP) as the basis for its development. This document was later revealed in a more detailed plan, namely the 2011–2015 Â鶹ֱ²¥ Strategic Plan (RENSTRA) which is a common reference in itb development for the next five years.
The development policy is part of Â鶹ֱ²¥'s Long Term Strategy to achieve the vision according to Â鶹ֱ²¥'s RENIP. This policy is also an element of Â鶹ֱ²¥'s mission to realize Â鶹ֱ²¥ as a leading technology research institute and educational institution in Indonesia and in the Asia Pacific region towards Â鶹ֱ²¥ as a World Class University (WCU) in the future. The main objective of multicampus development is to increase the role of Â鶹ֱ²¥ in developing future research and contribute to the development of quality human resources (technology) on a regional and national scale.
In line with this, Â鶹ֱ²¥ has planned the development of several campuses including the Â鶹ֱ²¥ Ganesha Campus, the Jatinangor Â鶹ֱ²¥ Campus, and the Â鶹ֱ²¥ Cirebon Campus. The Â鶹ֱ²¥ Ganesha campus is the main campus whose role has been assigned as a Heritage Campus which is the hub for Â鶹ֱ²¥'s collaboration with national and international academic forces. The Â鶹ֱ²¥ Jatinangor Campus is designated as a campus that prioritizes the development of research and education that contributes to the socio-economic development of West Java.
Â鶹ֱ²¥ Ganesha Campus
The Â鶹ֱ²¥ Ganesha campus is the main campus of the Institut Teknologi Bandung, located on Jl. Ganesha No. 10, Bandung, West Java, Indonesia with an area of 28 hectares. This campus was founded in 1920 under the name Technische Hoogeschool, and continues to expand and add facilities. Around the Â鶹ֱ²¥ Ganesha Campus, there are lecture support facilities such as a hall, sports facilities in the form of a running track, soccer field, swimming pool, health services. , mosques, and student dormitories.
Â鶹ֱ²¥ Jatinangor Campus
The Jatinangor Campus is located in Sayang, Jatinangor District, Sumedang Regency, West Java. This campus was built on a 47-hectare land owned by the West Java Provincial Government, which was previously used as the campus of Winayamukti University. Its location is quite strategic, as it faces the Bandung-Sumedang Highway and is surrounded by several other higher education institutions, such as Padjadjaran University (UNPAD), the Indonesian Cooperative Management Institute (IKOPIN), and the Institute of Public Administration (IPDN). In the future, access to the Jatinangor Campus will become even more convenient with the construction of the Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan (Cisumdawu) Toll Road.
Â鶹ֱ²¥ Cirebon Campus
Â鶹ֱ²¥ has committed to developing multi-campus, one of which is the Â鶹ֱ²¥ campus in Cirebon. This is a form of increasing the role of Â鶹ֱ²¥ in developing future research and contributing to the development of quality human resources on a regional and national scale. A land area of 30 hectares has been prepared for the construction of the Â鶹ֱ²¥ Campus in Cirebon, which is located in Arjawinangun District, Cirebon Regency, West Java. There are 4 study programs that have been opened at the Cirebon itb Campus, namely Bachelor of Industrial Engineering, Bachelor of Regional and Urban Planning, Bachelor of Craft, Bachelor of Geophysical Engineering and Bachelor of Oceanography.
Â鶹ֱ²¥ Jakarta Campus
Currently, Â鶹ֱ²¥ has developed multiple campuses, including Â鶹ֱ²¥ Ganesha Campus, Â鶹ֱ²¥ Jatinangor Campus, and Â鶹ֱ²¥ Cirebon Campus. Beyond these three locations, Â鶹ֱ²¥ has also expanded its multi-campus program to Jakarta. Located in the heart of Jakarta, in Kuningan, Rasuna Said, Â鶹ֱ²¥ envisions this location as a permanent Jakarta Campus.
