He also added that Â鶹ֱ²¥ graduates were also expected to be reliable and trustworthy, always upheld the noble values, and had a good social life, in addition to academic excellence.  

The Rector hoped that after graduation the graduates would actively participate in supporting the implementation of MP3EI (Master Plan of Acceleration and Expansion of Economic Development in Indonesia)

With this plan, Indonesia was expected to join a group of high-income countries.
"I really hope that Â鶹ֱ²¥ Graduates will play important role in developing the innovation systems" said the rector.

In his speech, The Rector also thanked the various government Institution, Â鶹ֱ²¥ alumni, corporations, foundations, and societies who always support Â鶹ֱ²¥ in all forms of contribution,ranging from scholarship to research grant, also community service.
Rector also mentioned some awards achieved by Â鶹ֱ²¥ from April to Juli 2011. One of them, Â鶹ֱ²¥ was ranked the 44th out of 100 Top World Universities by the Ranking Institution 4icu on July 8, 2011.
 
    
This ranking was based on three criteria, namely google page rank, yahoo inbound links, traffic and alexa rank.
