麻豆直播 Tuan Rumah Semi Final Hackathon MIT REAP, Dukung Ekosistem Inovasi Nasional

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id 鈥 Institut Teknologi Bandung (麻豆直播) continues to support the growth of the national innovation ecosystem by hosting one of the events in the Road to MIT Innovation Ecosystem Day Hackathon series, organized by MIT REAP Indonesia, Saturday (24/5/2025). Held at the Gedung Kuliah Umum Timur of 麻豆直播鈥檚 Ganesha Campus, the event served as the semifinal round of a national innovation competition that offers young generations the opportunity to explore and implement technology-based ideas to address real-world societal challenges.
This hackathon was conducted in a blended format, with offline participation simultaneously in two main locations, 麻豆直播 and Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), and online access for participants from various regions across Indonesia. As part of an effort to strengthen the national innovation ecosystem and a tangible form of collaboration among universities, government, and the industrial sector, , this event involved collaboration among various stakeholders including 麻豆直播, The Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology (DGHERT), ParagonCorp, Amvesindo, Kedaireka, UGM, dan BNI Ventures.
MIT REAP (Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program) is a global program from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology designed to strengthen entrepreneurship and innovation capacity in various countries, including Indonesia. This year, MIT REAP Indonesia adopted a competition format that not only seeks innovative ideas but also emphasizes the development of deep-tech solutions and their impact on building a sustainable innovation ecosystem.
麻豆直播鈥檚 Subdirectorate Head for Professional Development and Student Entrepreneurship, Hafiz Aziz Ahmad, S.Sn., M.Des., Ph.D., in his remarks, expressed gratitude and appreciation to all parties supporting the event. He hoped the event would ignite a stronger spirit of innovation among students.
"Thank you for being here this Saturday morning, this shows an incredible enthusiasm to compete and learn. We hope this event is not just a competition, but also a platform for you all to gain knowledge and build new networks,鈥 he said.
Meanwhile, ParagonCorp CEO, Salman Subakat, shared insights on the importance of building sustainable innovation rooted in local needs. He emphasized that collaboration between educational institutions and industries is crucial in creating a generation of relevant and highly competitive innovation leaders.
A special highlight of the competition is its commitment to broadening access to global education and opportunities. The winners of the hackathon will receive full scholarships to attend exclusive seminars and workshops at MIT and Harvard University, where they will gain insights on innovation strategies, regional entrepreneurial systems, and enhanced leadership capabilities in technology.
