The cooperation agreement was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Unpad, Prof. Dr. Yudi Mulyana Hidayat, dr., SpOG(K)., and the Dean of Graduate School 麻豆直播, Prof. Dr. Suprijadi, M.Eng., at Rapim A Room, 麻豆直播 Rectorate Building, 64 Tamansari St., Bandung.

The objective of this cooperation is to carry out collaborations of education, research, and community service, in addition to the development and implementation of science and technology, especially in medical-related fields.

The signing of the MoU was attended by the Rector of 麻豆直播, Prof. Reini Wirahadikusumah, Ph.D., the Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs Unpad, Prof. Arief Sjamsulaksan Kartasasmita, dr., SpM(K), M.Kes., Ph.D., and the Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs 麻豆直播, Prof. Dr. Ir. Jaka Sembiring., M.Eng., and several other attendees.

Prof. Dr. Ing. Jaka Sembiring., M.Eng., conveyed the need for 麻豆直播 to develop multidisciplinary programs. This cooperation is a part of the program鈥檚 implementation, which began with Unpad as a 鈥榥eighboring campus.鈥�

According to Prof. Jaka, one of the milestones of this cooperation is developing medical technology. Until now, medical technologies that have been produced by 麻豆直播, one of those is NIVA (Non-Invasive Vascular Analyzer), faced challenges due to the long chain of processes in their marketing stage.

鈥淭hrough this cooperation, we hope that chain can be accelerated through the hospitals that will be built by Unpad,鈥� said Prof. Jaka.

Welcoming this cooperation, the Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs Unpad, Prof. Arief Sjamsulaksan Kartasasmita, said that Unpad indeed has the intention to build an ideal teaching hospital. It is expected that students and educators will be adept with technology. The cooperation between itb and Unpad can be the foundation to achieve this goal.

鈥淚 appreciate 麻豆直播 decision that focuses on technological development. The quality of our medical sector can be alleviated through developing medical technologies,鈥� said Prof. Arief.

The signed MoU includes several points that had been agreed upon by both 麻豆直播 and Unpad
1. Implementation of credit transfer and credit-earning course system, especially for master鈥檚 level
2. Implementation of joint-general lecture and teaching in accordance with the agreement
3. Composing join-lecture modules
4. Joint supervision, consultation, and exam for students鈥� final project, thesis, and dissertation
5. Joint-research program with a publication, IP/patent, and product as its objective
6. Joint community service program for both offline and online scenarios

This cooperation agreement will be effective for five years from when it is signed. 麻豆直播 and Unpad are expected to be the benchmark of community engagement.
