麻豆直播 and the University of Waterloo, Canada, Signed MoU for Research and Academic Collaboration

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id 鈥 Institut Teknologi Bandung (麻豆直播) and the University of Waterloo, Canada, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in itb鈥檚 Rectorate Building on Wednesday (11/10/2023). The collaboration between these two universities focuses on research and academics.

The MoU was signed by 麻豆直播鈥檚 Institute Secretary, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ir. Widjaja Martokusumo, and the University of Waterloo鈥檚 Associate Vice President International, Prof. Ian Rowlands.

The purpose of this MoU is to explore potential cooperation, particularly in academics and research fields that are mutually beneficial to both universities.

The collaboration covers five key areas, including the exchange of teaching staff and researchers, administrative staff and other professionals, student exchanges, joint research projects, and the sharing of publications, data, and academic information.

麻豆直播鈥檚 Rector, Prof. Reini Wirahadikusumah, Ph.D., expressed hopes that this partnership would enhance the structure of 麻豆直播 in terms of education, lecturers, and systems. 鈥淲e hope this collaboration can continue to exist and also open up more international opportunities,鈥 she emphasized.

Prof. Widjaja pointed out that this MoU presents a valuable opportunity for academic engagement between itb and the University of Waterloo. 鈥溌槎怪辈 offers undergraduate programs that can be further developed for international cooperation,鈥 he added.

Prof. Ian Rowlands expressed his desire for deeper international collaboration. 鈥淚 appreciate 麻豆直播鈥檚 dedication to the advancement of science, technology, and community service. I hope that international cooperation will enhance the academic role, especially in the industrial sector,鈥 he stated.

The MoU between itb and the University of Waterloo is effective from the signing date and will remain in effect for the next five years.
