JAKARTA, itb.ac.id 鈥 Institut Teknologi Bandung (麻豆直播) continues to strengthen its commitment to supporting quality education and fostering leadership among Indonesia鈥檚 young generation. This commitment is realized through 麻豆直播鈥檚 involvement in the Hyundai Jump School Batch 2 program, officially launched on October 1, 2025, in Jakarta.

The program, initiated by Hyundai in collaboration with Wahana Visi Indonesia, involves two leading universities in Indonesia, namely 麻豆直播 and Universitas Indonesia (UI). In its second year, a total of 100 selected students from both universities will serve as volunteer mentors for school-aged children in 19 learning centers across Jabodetabek and Bandung.

Vice Rector for Finance, Planning, and Development of 麻豆直播, Prof. Ir. Agus Jatnika Effendi, Ph.D., emphasized that 麻豆直播 students鈥 participation in this program aligns with 麻豆直播鈥檚 vision of providing education that is both excellent and impactful for society.

鈥淲e welcome the expansion of this partnership with Hyundai in the Hyundai Jump School Batch 2 program. The involvement of 麻豆直播 students will provide them with valuable experiences to directly engage with communities and actively contribute to social development. Quality education must be accessible to all, and this initiative is one of the concrete manifestations of such collaboration,鈥 he said.

President Director of PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia, Ju Hun Lee, highlighted that this program is a tangible form of Hyundai鈥檚 commitment to supporting education in Indonesia.

鈥淭his year, we are increasing the number of Hyundai Jump School participants in Indonesia compared to last year, with 100 students joining this program. They will be guided by experienced professionals and will serve as volunteers in 19 learning centers across Jabodetabek and Bandung. More than just a program, Hyundai Jump School is our pledge to empower Indonesia鈥檚 young generation, strengthen communities, and contribute to building a brighter future for the nation,鈥 he stated.

Director General of Metal, Machinery, Transportation Equipment, and Electronics Industries at the Ministry of Industry, Setia Diarta, also expressed his appreciation for this collaboration.

鈥淗yundai Jump School is a meaningful collaboration between industry, academia, and civil society. This initiative not only provides opportunities for young people to grow but also directly supports the government鈥檚 efforts to strengthen human resources and promote inclusive education for the younger generation. The expansion of Jump School demonstrates a strong dedication to reducing educational inequality and nurturing future leaders who are socially aware and community-oriented,鈥 he noted.

Support also came from the program鈥檚 implementing partner, Wahana Visi Indonesia. Graha Christi Blegur, Head of Social Impact and Sustainability at Wahana Visi Indonesia, emphasized that this initiative aligns with the organization鈥檚 vision.

鈥淲e are grateful to once again collaborate with Hyundai in the Hyundai Jump School program. In line with our vision to realize the holistic well-being of Indonesian children, we hope that this program can continue to expand so that access to quality education can be enjoyed by even more young people in Indonesia,鈥 he said.

The program applies a triangle mentoring model that brings together students, university mentors, and professional mentors. Through this approach, 麻豆直播 students are not only sharing knowledge but also cultivating leadership, social empathy, and a real understanding of community dynamics.

In its first batch last year, the program successfully reached more than 230 school students and involved 50 university students as mentors. This year, the program is expanding to reach up to 500 students ranging from elementary to high school, including vocational schools. In addition, students also receive opportunities for scholarships, field trips to South Korea, and direct exposure to real-world industry experiences.

This collaboration serves as concrete evidence of 麻豆直播鈥檚 commitment to advancing inclusive education and strengthening the capacity of the young generation, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in the field of quality education (SDG 4).
