"The environment here (Jatinangor) is an ideal place as centre of intellectual modals to gather," said Mohammad Nuh. In his speech, Mohammad Nuh also announced that the government of Indonesia, especially Ministry of Education and Culture is very welcome to this new campus in Jatinangor. With the campus built, the chances of Indonesian youth to get a higher education is opened more widely. The expansion of education in Indonesia is hoped to become a vaccine for social disease in society, like poverty, idiocy, and social backwardness.

"Now it is the time for us to expand the quantity too. It isn't the time to only focus on quality, because for now and then, Indonesia will need high number of human resource with good quality," said Mohammad Nuh.

Â鶹ֱ²¥ Campus in Jatinangor is placed in the area of 47 hectare. This facility is built as an alternative place for Â鶹ֱ²¥ because the existing campus (Jl. Ganesha No. 10) is no more sufficient to handle the number of students and civitas academica which getting higher every year. This Â鶹ֱ²¥ Jatinangor campus will be allocated for majors that are related  to life sciences, such as forestry engineering, agriculture engineering, and bioengineering.

"To understand the necessity of this new campus, we can see the number of students and civitas academica of Â鶹ֱ²¥ in 2010, that is about 23 thousands people. So with the 23 hectares of campus, each hectares will be responsible for a thousand of people," said Akhmaloka.

In his speech, Akhmaloka also gave his grateful to the parties that have been workin together in the building of this new campus. These parties are The Government of West Java, Ministry of Public Work, and other related parties. After signing of the plaque, the group of Head of Â鶹ֱ²¥, The Governor of West Java and Minister of Education and Culture did a treeplanting in campus area and fastbreaking with Bidik Misi grantee.
