The event was opened by Erwin Setiawan (The Chief of Congress of IA Kimia Â鶹ֱ²¥) in his presentation as an opening speech. After that, Dr. Bunbun Bundjali as the Head of Chemistry Department of Â鶹ֱ²¥ also delivered his speech to greeting the alumni. As the Rector of Â鶹ֱ²¥ and as a alumni of Chemistry Â鶹ֱ²¥, Prof. Akhmaloka Â鶹ֱ²¥ also joined that event and gave his speech, too. In his opening speech, Erwin also told that this event was held to gather th spread ones and as a reunion event for every alumn of Chemistry Â鶹ֱ²¥.

Bunbun Bundjali also told that this association is the great forum to motivate the new graduates of Chemistry Â鶹ֱ²¥. From this association, every graduate of Chemistry Â鶹ֱ²¥ gets a wide opportunity to update their information on job, internship, or researches. In his speech, Bunbun Bundjali also told that IA Kimia Â鶹ֱ²¥ always gives their opinion and their input on the curriculum that will be used to educate students. As a alumni of Chemistry Â鶹ֱ²¥, Akhmaloka also gave their opinion about that, "The alumni of Chemistry Â鶹ֱ²¥ are now everywhere, we need to make a great connection to keep our alumni," he said.

In the end of that event, Jaja Ahmad Subarja (Alumni of Chemistry Â鶹ֱ²¥, year 1995) was elected to be the Chief of IA Kimia Â鶹ֱ²¥ for year 2014-2018. Jaja Ahmad will replace the previous chief of IA Kimia Â鶹ֱ²¥, Dasrul Chaniago. In his speech, Dasrul also said that Chemistry Â鶹ֱ²¥ is like a factory that produce a great graduates, "Chemistry Â鶹ֱ²¥ is a factory. This program produce a great product to replace their old-product, but the new product will be learn from their seniors, and their seniors are ready to help them. So, this association is always there to improve the quality of the new graduates of Chemistry Â鶹ֱ²¥," he said.
