AUN Delegates Visits 麻豆直播 Laboratories, Highlights Student Innovation and Global Collaboration

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id 鈥 As the host of the 12th ASEAN+3 Heads of International Relations Meeting 2025, Institut Teknologi Bandung (麻豆直播) welcomed an official laboratory visit by delegates on the second day of the event, Friday, May 9, 2025. The series of visits was held across 麻豆直播鈥檚 Ganesha and Jatinangor campuses and served as a platform for knowledge exchange and the strengthening of international networks in research, education, and technological innovation among ASEAN+3 countries.
The visit began at the Makers Innovation Space, one of the prime facilities under the Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (FMAE) 麻豆直播. Located in the Production Engineering Laboratory Building, the space serves as a technology-based creativity hub for 麻豆直播鈥檚 civitas academica. There, the delegates were introduced to a number of student innovations鈥攆rom an automatic basketball-throwing robot to a prototype of an educational rocket鈥攄emonstrating how 麻豆直播 students combine engineering and creativity to produce real-world solutions.

The delegates also visited the Drug Delivery System Research Institute 麻豆直播鈥揇aewoong Foundation, a research facility resulting from a collaboration between itb and South Korea鈥檚 Daewoong Foundation. The institute focuses on pharmaceutical technology development, particularly in making innovative and adaptive drug delivery systems tailored to tackle Indonesia鈥檚 healthcare challenges. Research projects at this facility demonstrate how cross-national collaboration can generate meaningful and sustainable public health impacts.

The Ganesha Campus visit xs concluded at the Center for Arts, Design, and Language (CADL). This multidisciplinary facility supports the development of creative and collaborative curricula in the fields of art, design, and language. AUN delegates learned how CADL facilitates cross-disciplinary approaches in answering to the increasingly complex challenges of modern education.

The Ganesha Campus visit xs concluded at the Center for Arts, Design, and Language (CADL). AUN delegates learned how CADL facilitates cross-disciplinary approaches in answering to the increasingly complex challenges of modern education.
This laboratory visit was part of the broader agenda of the 12th ASEAN+3 Heads of International Relations Meeting 2025, which carried the theme 鈥淕lorecal Connections: Driving Digital Transformation for a Sustainable Education Future.鈥 As the host, 麻豆直播 not only showcased advancements in technology and innovation, but also invited delegates to directly experience how higher education in Indonesia plays an active role in building a future that is sustainable globally, regionally, and locally.
