16 Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ Researchers Named in World’s Top 2% Scientists 2025

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id – Institut Teknologi Bandung (Âé¶¹Ö±²¥) has once again achieved an outstanding international recognition. A total of 16 Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ faculty members were listed among the World’s Top 2% Scientists 2025, released by Stanford University in collaboration with academic publisher Elsevier. This achievement cements Âé¶¹Ö±²¥â€™s position as the Indonesian university with the highest number of scientists included in this prestigious global ranking.

The World’s Top 2% Scientists list is compiled based on various indicators, including citation counts, H-index, and the overall impact of publications worldwide. These benchmarks make the ranking one of the most authoritative international references in assessing scientists’ contributions to the advancement of global science and technology.

The following Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ faculty members were named in the 2025 list:

In the previous year, 2024, Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ had 14 faculty members included in the same list. This year, the number rose to 16. Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ Vice Rector for Research and Innovation, Prof. Ir. Lavi Rizki Zuhal, Ph.D., remarked, “This increase reflects Âé¶¹Ö±²¥â€™s consistency in maintaining the quality of research, publications, and academic contributions at the global level.â€

This recognition reinforces Âé¶¹Ö±²¥â€™s reputation as one of Indonesia’s leading research institutions, producing scientists whose influence spans diverse disciplines. It also underlines Âé¶¹Ö±²¥â€™s commitment to advancing high-quality research, expanding international collaborations, and delivering tangible impacts for society and national development.
