Center of Spatial Data Infrastructure (PIDS Â鶹ֱ²¥) is a research center on spatial data. PIDS Â鶹ֱ²¥ aims to become a master on concept and technology of spatial data infrastructure center of excellence in Indonesia. PIDS Â鶹ֱ²¥ helped Bakosurtanal in the development of national spatial data infrastructure (NSDI) and other institutions to develop spatial data infrastructure. PIDS Â鶹ֱ²¥ and Bakosurtanal also developed national standard of SDI education system, by producing curriculum and several learning modules. By developing standardized SDI education system, hopefully spatial data technology development in Indonesia advance, considering spatial data's importance as the basic information to national development and environmental issues. Research topics in PIDS Â鶹ֱ²¥ are associated with spatial data,, geodatabase, metadata, spatial data quality, and more.
